The problem is I keep getting this error message: "Windows could not format a partition on disk 0. The error occurred while preparing the partition selected for installation. Error code: 0x" I am running a raid 0 setup with two gb sata drives. Yes I installed the raid drivers during the install. I even tried installing without the raid setup, but Windows could not even read the hard drive but my bios did. Could someone please help? I'm on my knees begging right now. Wednesday, July 30, AM.

Tried so many fixes like refreshing the driver database, still nothing. So, I tried a fresh install of Vista Home Premium. Still, no flash drives for iPod's etc. Tried an external enclosure and worked fine. I have never had this much trouble with a laptop ever, this is the first I cannot figure out how to fix. I am about to just install XP, but I would like to see if anybody else had any insight. Try downloading and installing Vista drivers from here for you model.
Particularly the cardbus driver. I did all drivers installed including the card bus driver straight from Acer and still nothing. I do not understand why some stuff works and some does not. All that was installed when before I formatted and it did not work then, and applications should have no effect on that. It could be the order in which the drivers were installed. Not an IT pro?
